Stress is something that all of us experience from time to time. While it's unavoidable, it's also manageable, and your physiotherapist can help.
Stress – a term coined by Hans Seyle in 1936 – doesn't always mean what we think it does. Often, when people think they're feeling stressed out and overwrought, they're really worried, anxious, or depressed. These things are different than stress, but they do coincide, and feed off of each other.
While serious anxiety and depression issues cannot be treated with exercise alone, it can have definitely help minimize the normal stresses and dampened feelings we all occasionally experience.
